Laplace Instruments will be exhibiting at EMC & Compliance International 2026, taking place from 29 April to 1 May 2026 at the Holiday Inn Oxford.

This year, the organisers have also introduced an exhibition-only registration option, so visitors no longer need to register for the full conference if they mainly want to attend the exhibition. The exhibition-only pass is £25 and includes coffee and lunch.

Join Warwick Barnes’ presentation
Laplace will also be represented in the conference programme by Warwick Barnes, who is scheduled to present:
“FFT Techniques Explored and their Effects on Quasi Peak and Average Detectors”
The standards call for the use of Quasi-Peak & Average detectors. This makes conventional receiver and spectrum analysers measurements slow. With the advent of fast A/D converters Fast Fourier Transform techniques can be used to speed up test times and these come with their own problems. This presentation discusses the technical aspects of the FFT capture and what effect that has on the detectors.
