Laplace Instruments Kits

We typically supply integrated test systems. Each can be tailored to suit particular requirements. They fall into the following categories:-

RFI - RF radiated immunity testing. 

This system is based on a LaplaCell plus signal generator (synthesiser) and power amplifiers. It fully complies with IEC61000-4-3 and IEC61000-4-20. This is a complete, integrated system which requires no additional items.

RFIC - Conducted RF immunity testing.

These systems cover the IEC61000-4-6 requirements for the injection of RF interference onto cables connected to the product under test. They include all that is required for a complete solution, including a wide range of CDNs (Conventional, versatile and enhanced).

RFC, RFG,  RFL & ALECS - Emissions measurements.

The RFC- system is for conducted emissions only, comprising the analyser and LISN or voltage probe. The RFG-  kit is designed for radiated emission measurements using any approximation to an OATS (Open Area Test Site). This may be any outdoor area or reasonable large room indoors. It includes a reference source and is complete with powerful PC Windows software. If both radiated and conducted test are required, add the required LISN, voltage probe and pre-selectors as options to the RFG- kit.
The RFL- kits are an alternative based on the LaplaCell, EMC test cell. It achieves the same end result but without the need for an open area test site. This avoids the complications of test site calibration and ambient noise.
ALECS is a kit specially developed for the testing of Luminaires as specified in EN55015 

CLIENTS - combined RF emissions and immunity testing based on test cells.

These systems are ideal for checking the EMC characteristics of new products. They offer a benchtop facility capable of speedy and convenient assessments of a product both during the design and prototyping phases, and the final product. For sheer convenience and cost effectiveness, these systems are unbeatable.

FAS -  Mains Filter Analysis System

 The FAS system is a comprehensive tool kit for the analysis of conducted emissions and the design of appropriate filters. It can measure common mode and differential mode signal components, measure the source impedance of the EUT and subsequently compute filter components and configuration to achieve compliance with EMC limits.

ONYX16 -  Fully compliant ESD test system

The ONYX16 is a state of the art electrostatic discharge simulator for testing up to 16kV.
Released in 2010 and designed according to the latest version of IEC61000-4-2 standard requirements.  A 30kV version (the ONYX30) is also available if required.

The easy to use touch screen, ergonomic design, modular RC units, multilingual interface,
remote control software, built-in LED light and temperature & humidity display, allows for trouble-free use of the ONYX in all types of test sites.

AXOS5 - Integrated system for the non-RF tests.

The AXOS5 is a complete solution for the following tests:

Other integrated systems for Harmonics & Flicker (IEC61000-3-2  and IEC61000-3-3) are also available.
